Bear Grylls gets new interactive series You Vs. Wild on Netflix
The eight-episode series puts you in control of the British armed forces-trained survivalist.

Riding on the success of the last December’s choose-your-own-adventure Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Netflix is giving viewers more agency with an upcoming user-controlled series centred on survivalist Bear Grylls.
Announced at Netflix’s press event in Los Angeles yesterday (Mar 18), the eight-episode You Vs. Wild arrives Apr 10 and will let viewers follow Grylls on adventures around the world as he tries to survive the great outdoors.Â
“You've seen Bear Grylls battle the wild, but this time, his survival is in YOUR hands. You vs. Wild, A Netflix Interactive Series, launches April 10 only on Netflix,” reads the announcement video on YouTube.
A former member of the British armed forces, Grylls rose to fame with his survival television series Man Vs Wild, which ran from 2006 to 2011. Â
