VUE – the rooftop bar and grill located on the penthouse of OUE Bayfront on Collyer Quay – has launched a new weekend Surf & Turf menu that offers quality seafood and meat choices, along with a free lunch cocktail on the house and yes, a breathtaking Instagram-worthy view of Singapore’s Marina Bay.

Choose from a “Surf” menu that includes a Norwegian Crab Salad on Toast, made of succulent Norwegian Red King Crab, creamy avocado, refreshing cucumber, shallots and yuzu mayonnaise; an Oyster Kirkpatrick of three pieces of Speciale Geay oysters served with thick-cut bacon, Worcestershire sauce and wasabi.

For an additional S$12, there is the Lobster Thermidor of whole Maine lobster baked with mushroom, sharp Cheddar and Gruyere and served with Hollandaise sauce.

Options on the “Turf” menu include the restaurant’s Signature A5 ‘Kokuou’ Emperor Black Wagyu Brisket from Kumamoto, Japan, each 200g portion carefully slow roasted for 24 hours; Chipotle Glaze Grilled Iowa State ‘Sakura Pork’ Rack –the whole 250g of which will be grilled with fennel, roasted garlic and fennel puree.

Throw in an extra S$38, and indulge in a 250g USDA Prime, Brandt Family Beef, from Brawley, California, grilled over Binchotan charcoal.

Both mains will come with two sides: choose from shoestring fries, marble potatoes, truffle polenta, creamed spinach, grilled cauliflower, grilled green peas, or onion tempura. You may also opt for roasted bone marrow for an additional S$10.

The Prix Fixe Surf & Turf Menu is priced at S$128 and comes with a choice of a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa – entirely on the house. Subsequent cocktail orders are chargeable at S$15 each.

Alternatively, VUE has also launched an early evening dining special where you can indulge in their four-course prix fixe menu at S$96++ (instead of the usual S$128++).

Enjoy a sunset dinner overlooking the Marina Bay at 5.30pm (last orders end at 6pm), where you can choose between the Dutch Yellowtail Amberjack “Charcoal Tataki” or Grilled Veal Sweetbread to start off your meal. The Sea Urchin Risotto is next, followed by the choice between the Pan Seared Spanish Turbot or Grilled New Zealand Venison Loin. End your dinner on a sweet note with a pumpkin dessert.

VUE is located at OUE Bayfront, Level 19, 50 Collyer Quay.
