13 Reasons Why star Ross Butler joins sequel to Netflix's teen film To All The Boys I've Loved Before
The 28-year-old actor also played Reggie Mantle in the first season of Riverdale.

Ross Butler is set to play Noah Centineo’s best friend in the sequel to the hit 2018 Netflix film To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.
Butler, who plays Zach Dempsey on 13 Reasons Why and originated the role of Reggie on Riverdale, will play Trevor Pike, Peter Kavinsky's best friend.Â
The news of his casting was announced via Netflix’s teaser account See What’s Next early Tuesday morning (Apr 2).
"We're thrilled to announce that the endlessly charming Ross Butler has joined the cast of the To All The Boys sequel as Trevor Pike," producer Matt Kaplan told Entertainment Weekly. "His real-life friendship with Noah brings a natural chemistry and great rapport to the set and we can't wait for fans to see this friendship play out onscreen."
The two actors, who are close friends in real life, attended a Halloween party together last year.
The To All the Boys I've Loved Before sequel is now in production, reported E! News. In addition to Centineo and Butler, the movie sees the return of Lana Condor as Lara Jean, Janel Parrish as Margot, John Corbett as Dr Covey, Anna Cathcart as Kitty. New guy John Ambrose McClaren (Jordan Fisher) will definitely have his work cut out for him.
The first film holds an approval rating of 96 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, though it was criticised for casting Caucasian male actors in four out of five love interests, especially in an adaptation of a book by a Korean-American author. Speaking with IndieWire, author Jenny Han said, "I understand the frustration and I share that frustration of wanting to see more Asian-American men in media. All I can say is this is the story that I wrote."
