Two days watching BTS’s past concerts surely made for an exciting weekend for K-pop fans, ARMYs can look forward to even more after the boyband made a mysterious tease for an upcoming event.
At the very end of the recent Bang Bang Con online YouTube marathon, which was viewed 50 million times, a message appeared on screen which read: “In June, BTS will return to ARMY’s rooms once again.
The month of June has stood out in the calendars of ARMYs for years due to the fact that BTS made its debut that month. The boyband typically celebrates the occasion every year with a slew of new content and gifts for fans to enjoy, reported Soompi.
With this in mind, many would put two and two together and can guess that this mysterious announcement has something to do with an anniversary event, possibly held online due to the mention of returning to ARMY’s “rooms”.
The recent Bang Bang Con was the only event content ARMYs have been able to get their hands on ever since the cancellation of the group’s world tour due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Streamed on YouTube, it featured a total of eight past concerts from BTS. The boyband took to Twitter to thank fans for tuning in, writing: “Did you all enjoy watching ‘BANG BANG CON,’ which took place over the past two days? Thank you to all of the ARMY who enjoyed the concerts at home while waving their ARMY Bombs!”
