EXO's Chen and new wife welcome their first child after marriage in January

Chen from South-Korean boyband EXO has officially become a father. He and his wife welcomed their first child on Apr 29 (Wednesday).
Chen’s wife was reported by South Korean daily newspaper The Financial News to have given birth to a baby girl in Cheongdam, Gangnam District.
SM Entertainment, which formed the boyband in 2011, also confirmed the news: “It is true that their daughter was born today”.
Chen, whose real name is Kim Jong-dae, announced his marriage in January via a letter to fans. In it, the 27-year-old wrote: “I have a girlfriend that I want to spend the rest of my life with”.
While the letter did not directly refer to his non-celebrity girlfriend’s pregnancy then, the singer said that a “blessing” had come his way.
