The youngest son of King of Pop Michael Jackson, Bigi turned 18 on Friday (Feb 21). The younger Jackson who was nicknamed Blanket from birth, changed his name from Prince Michael II to Bigi after years of bullying.

His siblings Prince and Paris marked the occasion with tributes on Instagram.

Twenty-one-year-old Paris shared three throwback photos of her brother yesterday (Feb 21). She wrote, “My little brother is a legal adult today. what the f—, I used to change his diapers. this is such a trip.. proud of the handsome, intelligent, insightful, funny, and kind young man he has become. he likes privacy so that’s all i gotta say. hbd lil bro.”

A day earlier, Prince shared on his Instagram Story that the Jackson brothers went to Yamashiro, a Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles to celebrate Bigi's birthday with two huge sushi boats.

A family friend told People that Bigi shares a strong sibling bond with Prince. “Prince and Bigi are best friend. They share a lot of interests like science and sci-fi,” said the family friend.

Last May, the publicity-shy Bigi showed up at Prince’s commencement ceremony to celebrate his older brother’s graduation from Loyola Marymount University.

Subsequently, Prince announced that he and Bigi would launch a movie review YouTube channel. The first video they reviewed was Avengers: Endgame and the most recent review, posted earlier this week, was of Sonic the Hedgehog.

The Jackson siblings have come a long way since their father’s passing – the singer died at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest in 2009.

“Things were very difficult for them after Michael passed away,” the family friend told People. “But it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come.”
